Cowboy.Net Contract and Usage Acceptance

1. I understand that I will be billed appropriate to the information above. I understand that this is a prepaid service, and failure to make payment within 10 days of signup will result in system lockout.

2. Clients who do not have a dedicated account are required to be attending their computer whenever their account is in use. Robots and other automated actions such as but not limited to logging chat lines while away from the computer are prohibited with dial-in accounts.

3. Clients who do not have an account with multiple logins are prohibited from using multiple logins. (i.e. two workstations logged on with the same account name).

4. Any account found to be over 5 days past due will be locked. Full payment and a $10 reactivation fee will be required to reactivate the account. Unpaid accounts will be referred a collection agency.

5. The Internet permits the transmission and sharing of information between institutions and individuals, but transmissions of any material - text or graphic - in violation of Federal or State laws or regulations, including but not limited to libel, is prohibited.

6. Clients have a right to expect privacy, especially of electronic mail. It is our intention the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) apply to your account.

7. Cowboy. Net and its staff will cooperate with law enforcement officials and with other system administrators in the legitimate investigation of suspicious activity.

8. Clients must have appropriate authorization to the host system they are accessing. Intentional violations of the privacy of other Clients, whether on our system or at another site, will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and may lead to criminal prosecution or civil penalties.

9. Clients under the age of 18 must have a signed release from their parents or guardians before they can access our network. Cowboy.Net is not in the business of censoring material found or placed on the Internet. Clients are responsible for determining the legal status of any intellectual property used or duplicated through our system. We cannot and do not review the information flowing through our system. Clients agree not to violate copyright laws by transferring copyrighted works through our system or by causing them to be transferred or stored without the permission of the copyright holder.

10. Cowboy.Net and its staff cannot be responsible for the content of your electronic communications. The Internet and UseNet are large communities which generally regard censorship as the plague. Clients will have access to and will, at some time or another, be exposed to materials which could be offensive. Such materials can include sexually explicit text and images, racial slurs, general hate talk, religious debates, personal value debates and more.

11. Clients wishing to cancel their account, must give Cowboy.Net written notice (e-mail accepted) within 10 days of the client's billing date. Failure to give a timely notice will result in charges for the following period of service. Accounts renew automatically unless notice is received to cancel.

12. Clients should feel free to allow the members of their immediate family (spouse, child) to use their personal account. However, Clients are prohibited from giving their account information to a friend for his/her private use.

13. Clients are responsible for all actions taken or actions caused in connection with this service. Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless BroadSat Communications, Inc. dba Cowboy.Net, its officers, employees, agents, and shareholders for any cause of action out of your account with use or your use of the service.

14. No refunds given on contracts broken before the termination date.
