Oklahoma Botanical Garden and Arboretum

The Oklahoma Botanical Garden and Arboretum (OBGA) is the headquarters garden for a statewide arboretum system that provides a wealth of information about plant selection, evaluation, and preservation. There is also information about native and introduced species, as well as information about plant culture and landscaping. The 100 acre botanical garden, located on the campus of Oklahoma State University, includes the "Studio Gardens" where segments of the very popular "Oklahoma Gardening" show are filmed for TV. The studio gardens include permanent gardens as well as theme gardens that are changed annually. The permanent gardens include a water garden, a rock garden, a railroad garden, a butterfly garden, a Japanese viewing garden, and a Japanese tea garden.
