Polo Towers

................................................

Polo Towers is on Las Vegas Blvd in a fantastic location. We bought at Polo Towers in the spring of 1994. Little did we know at that time the unbelieveable development that would take place around the resort. Monte Carlo and New York York have been built across the street. Bellagio is just up the street. Mandalay Bay is a half mile to the south. The new Alladins is just up the strip and Paris is just beyond it. And MGM just to the south has remodled. Other casinos very nearby are the Excalibur, Luxor, Tropicana, San Remo, and Holiday Inn Boardwalk. Polo Towers is affiliated with Interval International (II) who is a major player in exchanging timeshare units.

Initially Polo Towers consisted of one 19 story building facing LV Blvd. A second tower has been added at right angles to the first forming a Tand a third tower has been added to form an H. The units in the first two towers are called "suites" while those in the third tower which are more up-scale are called "villas". The timeshare units are very nice, but not outstanding. The aminities are nice, but not outstanding. The staff is nice, but not outstanding. But the location is outstanding!! We put a few coins in the slot machines, but we enjoy the incredible architecture, the fabulous buffets, and the great shopping. There's lots of good shows also, but the shows in Branson are more to our liking.

At check-in we always receive a card for a free gift, almost always a deck of cards. However, on our last visit our free gift was a trip to Laughlin with a nice buffet. It was a fun trip and a good buffet. Following are a couple photos of Laughlin.
