Timeshare Exchanges to Japan--------------------------------------------------------------------------top

We have done three timeshare exchanges to Japan and all have been great exchanges. Our first was to the northern island of Hokkaido and we exchanges into the Therm Chitose Dominio complex. Actually, it was an apartment complex in which several apartments are set aside for timeshare exchanges and it was quite nice with quite a lot of space. We enjoyed visiting a couple Ainu settlements, famous onsens, a Japanese crane reserve and many other places. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets which many Japanese on the other islands don't get to enjoy because the sun disappears behinds the mountains well before it actually sets in the west. And we enjoyed a trip to the remote coastal areas of northwest Hokkaido where the black bears of Hokkaido call home. Unfortunately we saw none on our trip.

Our second exchange was into a Sun Members Resort in the western part Kyoto. It was like a hotel unit but was very clean and attractive. Located in the Saga-Arashiyama area in the western part of Kyoto, there are many temples, shrines and gardens nearby as well as many shops and restaurants, but with an excellent public transportation system, all of Kyoto is easily accessible There much to see and do in Kyoto, but since it's my wife's hometown and we lived and worked nearby for a couple years we spent part of our time visiting family and friends, but it was a very nice exchange.

Our third exchange, and probably our favorite in Japan, was into another Sun Members Resort, the Hotel Resorpia Hakone in the Gora Onsen area within Fuji-Hakone National Park. The entire area is beautiful! The hotel and the hotel staff were wonderful. The mountain railway system was fun, the cable car and ropeway system over the mountain was exciting, the geyser activity was amazing and ride across Lake Ashi on the replica of the old tall sailing ships was great. But the view of Lake Ashi with Mt. Fuji in the background was spectacular!
