I like to travel and have done a certain amount of same - more than some and less than others. While traveling through all 50 states and more than 25 other countries around the world we've seen some fantastic places and hope to see more. Travel enriches one's life immeasuably as well as providing marvelous memories and lots of slides and photos. Let me share a few photos with you.

National Parks

I'm a big fan of our national parks and national monuments system and try to visit them any time there's one relatively close at hand. I think my favorite is Yellowstone National Park, but there are several others that are close seconds.

Yellowstone N P, Wyoming:... World-famous for it's hydrothermal features, but there's so much more to see. Beautiful mountains, lush valleys filled with wildlife, and wild streams that rush through narrow gorges to suddenly become wide, placid crystal clear rivers meandering through green meadows. There's also the spectacular Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone with Yellowstone Falls as a backdrop. and much much more.

....... In the early morning light, Mt. Rainier, some sixty miles to the east rises majestically above the surrounding mountains.To the people who live in the area, it's not Mt. Rainier, it's simply "The mountain" and its a spectacular sight.
